Q. Do you have any advice on how to be a successful singer and recording artist?
A. Depends what you want and it depends how you define success. If you want to be famous and very rich, etc, etc...then go to a major label with some music (but not the whole album because that will put them off) if you are willing to be moulded. Remember, these riches that I speak of are not yours, they are to be paid back and borrowed. If you just want to be a successful musician then make as much music as you can, decide what kind of style is your favourite, and go with that. Play at any opportunity that you get given in any scenario. Make sure you have your own web page, myspace, facebook, twitter; thats the new promo these days, and is a whole lot cheaper! Find yourself a booking agent and create your fan base, as long as you keep making music,and if it's good, the fans will always want to hear it... it doesn't matter where it comes from. Keep your integrity musically if you want to go get and get a deal; which at some point you will. Make your album first before you walk into the room. That way you get to make the album you want--not the way you're told.

Chicago, Meet & Greet?

Joss it's almost a week until your concert here in Chicago and I can't wait! You have the most beautiful voice and style, this is my 4th time seeing you here! I was just throwing out the idea of you having a meet and greet with your dedicated fans! Can't wait!
