We are in Russia. So far its been interesting to say the least.  Tasha and I have been to the gym twice! So that's pretty good going although this morning after my work out I went to Tasha's room to go through emails etc.... I knocked on the door and looked to my right to see a lady from the hotel walking towards me with a tray of 2 bowls of ice cream. Surely not I thought. But she's been so good!  We went to the gym and everything. Maybe the lady will walk past and deliver the bowls of pure evil to someone else's room. Nope. She goes right to the same door I was knocking on. Tasha opens the door with a very guilty face, "but you had a donut yesterday", she screams. Ha Ha!! Bless! Life on the road is so hard with out chocolate and ice cream. I understand.

So very important note - the Holiday Inn in Moscow has pipe issues. When we checked in, Inoticed that my bathroom smells like dead people and shit! There's no other way to put it. Its not good. I have been showering down at the gym and have shut the door to my bathroom and vow never to open it again. Tasha has the same problem her description of it was "it smells like Glastonbury toilets after 4 days of cooking in the sun". Not nice.

So, now were sound checking at the gig. I think its gonna be good. The room is very echoey but when the people get in it will hopefully balance out. There is a huge hay stack in the middle of the room - not sure why - maybe its an art thing. But slightly worried being that everyone smokes like trains here inside and out. Hopefully no one will flick there ash in the direction of the obvious fire hazard. Its nice though. Reminds me of Devon. My tour manager, Wilf, suggested I start the show at the top of the hay stack and slowly work my way down it in a sultry manner. Interesting entrance but it could work . ha ha!! I'm not ruling it out completely :)
